When did you join the Ginger family?
August 2017, I packed up my VW and hit the road never looking back!

How long have you been in the industry and what attracted you to this career path?

I have been licensed for about 5 years. Although it's tricky to put a number on it because I grew up hanging out in my moms salon after school. I would pretend to do my homework but instead I was fascinated with all of the updos and blonde perms my mom did everyday! Her clients were like family and the whole salon was buzzing with gossip and over flowing coffee cups. It was like a 1990's Steel Magnolias set. I was fascinated with my mothers relationships with these women; she has been by her clients side to make them feel beautiful through multiple marriages, losses and celebrations. I was always interested in beauty regimens so naturally, that mixed with socializing, was a dream job.

What is the most satisfying part of your job?
The moment a client and I nail their hair goals. I love looking through pictures of what your hair dreams look like and coming up with a game plan on how to get there together.

What/who are your biggest inspirations?
Old photos and movie stars. My grandmother was a huge part of my life and we spent hours watching old Hollywood movies.

Where can you be found outside of work?
Thrift shopping and working out. I love rummaging at an estate sale or a thrift store to find vintage treasures. Ive been on a health journey recently so staying active is really important to me. I can't wait for spring and summer to be here so I can get more hiking in!

What are your favorite Kevin Murphy products and why?
Restore. This product has saved my clients and my own hair from color and heat styling damage. It combines all the buttery feels of a deep treatment and the gentle cleansing  properties of a co-wash. Its a revolutionary product!

What are you binge watching on tv?

Below Deck. (guilty binge)

What are you favorite hair trends? What needs to go away? What should come back?
Loves- Balayage Color & Bold Colors. Big Romantic Waves and the fringe bang.

Hates- Crimpers. Peek-a-Boo color. It's 80's and tacky, not in the good way. LOL

Come Back Please- Hot Roller Sets, it creates smooth volume with a beautiful bounce on any hair type.

If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would it be?

Rihanna, she is such a rebel cool girl and has the body of a goddess.
